We are wholly committed to providing a safe and secure preschool for our children. The doors to Zion Lutheran Preschool remain locked; with access to our school only by ringing the video intercom at Door A, the main entrance.

Please drive slowly and carefully in our parking lot! Always hold your child's hand when walking in tne parking lot. For safety's sake, do not allow your child to run or play in the parking lot or the drop off areas. 

Drop-off Procedure (9:00 to 9:05 a.m.)

Being on time starts the day right for both the child and the class. When children have a predictable routine at school, it is easier on everyone!

For drop-off, park in our parking lot and bring your child(ren) to the assigned Door. Our classes meet and Door A (the Main School Door) and Doors B & C (the patio doors). Your child's teacher will inform you about which door your child's class meets at. Our staff will greet you and your child each day and welcome your child into the school.  

Please note, all family members should plan to drop off outside and NOT enter the school except in special circumstances. We promise that the children will be moving to their classrooms very soon and the fun will get started right away! 

If your child is participating in the before school care program, you may drop off anytime between 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Drop off will occur at Door A (the main school door). Please ring the doorbell and a staff member will come to greet you and welcome your child to school! Please be sure to sign up for early care in advance. In order to maintain appropriate group sizes, early care without prior notification is not permitted. 

Pick-up Procedure (11:15, 11:30 a.m. and 1:00)

Toddler (two-year-olds) classes end at 11:15 a.m or 1:00 p.m. Morning Preschool (three-year-olds), Pre-K (four-year-olds) and Older 4/5-Year-Old classes end at 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Teachers will bring the children to your assigned door and dismiss each child to a parent/guardian or an authorized person only. If we do not recognize the person who is picking up, we will ask for photo ID like a driver's license. 

Please be on time to pick up your child. Late pickups will result in a late fee being charged. 

Pick-up Procedure (Extended Care until 5:00 p.m.)

If your child is participating in the extended care program, come to Door A (the main school door) and ring the bell upon arrival. We will bring your child to you. Please note our school closes promptly at 5:00 p.m. Pickups after 5:00 p.m. will result in a late fee of $5 per each 5 minutes late.
